Doch mit gerade mal 34 Lenzen auf dem Buckel blickt der Gitarrist aus Nordrheinwestfalen, der auch als Produzent, Songwriter und S\u00e4nger aktiv ist, bereits auf eine fast zwei Dekaden dauernde Karriere zur\u00fcck, in denen er Welttourneen mit K\u00fcnstlern wie T.M. Stevens, Fettes Brot, DJ Bobo, Tom Beck, Luxusl\u00e4rm, Roachford, The Boss Hoss, Marc Terenzi, Daliah Lavi, Mark Medlock, Dieter Falk und Richard Sanderson \u2013 um nur einige zu nennen- als Sessionmusiker absolviert hat, mit dem Musical \u201cRichard o\u2019Brien\u2019s Rocky Horror Show insgesamt fast 3 Jahre auf Europatournee war und sich auf weit \u00fcber 40 Tontr\u00e4gern verewigt hat. Au\u00dferdem entwickelte er mit der Firma ENGL den \u201cRetro Tube 50\/100 Gitarrenamp. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">Bereits mit 12 Jahren stand DENNIS HORMES auf der B\u00fchne, spielte als 14 J\u00e4hriger Konzerte und Sessions mit bekannten Szenemusikern wie Rocco Klein, Andreas Schmidt-Martelle, Hannes Bauer, Martin Engelien, Tiziano Lamberti, Bill Bickford, Thomas Blug, Wolf Simon, Charlie T. und vielen mehr. Mit 16 Jahren war DENNIS Endorser f\u00fcr Gibson Guitars und h\u00e4lt damit bis heute den Rekord als weltweit j\u00fcngster Endorser einer der bekanntesten Gitarrenmarke.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">Seinen Schwerpunkt legt DENNIS HORMES jedoch auf seine Karriere als Solok\u00fcnstler. Mit seiner DENNIS HORMES BLUESBAND spielte und sang er neben Dieter Steinmann (Klaus Lage Band) am Schlagzeug und Martin Engelien am Bass. Mit Letzterem ist DENNIS HORMES bis heute musikalisch sowie freundschaftlich verbunden; so spielte er mehrfach bei Engeliens Konzertreihe \u201cGo Music\u201d und sein aktuelles Album \u201cSix String Therapy\u201d erscheint auf Engeliens Label A1 Records.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">Auf diesem \u2013 seinem zweiten &#8211; Soloalbum schl\u00e4gt DENNIS HORMES nun rockigere Kl\u00e4nge an. Das ehemalige Gitarren \u2013 Wunderkind beweist einmal mehr, dass er zu einem der besten Gitarristen der Welt avanciert ist. Auf \u201cSix String Therapy\u201d zeigt der Musiker, dass er nicht nur flinke Finger hat, sondern auch in Sachen Songwriting und Gesang absolut brillant ist. Auf die in Blues\/Rock \u2013 Kreisen gerne genommenen Covers von altbekannten Klassikern verzichtet DENNIS komplett. Die 12 Songs auf \u201cSix String Therapy\u201d wurden allesamt von HORMES selbst geschrieben. Dass der umtriebige Saitenhexer f\u00fcr alle Gitarren, den Gesang und die Produktion des Albums verantwortlich zeichnet, versteht sich von selbst.
